The 'artist is a traveler. Mobility is as intrinsic to his work as it is inescapable. It has been so since the dawn of time. But travel is a necessity common to all human beings. It is the search for a possible “elsewhere.” Today, after long months of isolation and deprivation of movement, travel takes on an even more necessary meaning. It is not to leave the world in which we felt imprisoned but simply to go “beyond” our own circumscribed humanity that the pandemic has tightened. Isolated, we felt more strongly the need for the encounter with the other, to know new horizons. Like artists, we feel an urgent urge to wander, to be transported to different places. Hence the idea of a program contaminated by artists who refuse to root themselves in a fixed identity, who love to explore, to transmit, to get in touch with the territory osmotically, to give and receive knowledge. Artists eager to struggle, to denounce and to recover the instinctiveness of contact, peculiar in the art of dance.
