What have the absence of physical contact, the fear of contagion, the widespread uncertainty about the future, the contradictions of technologies, and the fragility that has invaded the world done to us? To cope with the spread of the pandemic, we have all assumed responsible behaviors that have led us to change our daily habits, the way we work, the way we relate to each other. So it was for the Festival, so it was for the guest artists who modified and adapted their proposals, inserting them into the “distanced polis,” where the poetic gesture becomes political: of presence, of existence, of protection. And of relationship between bodies. Despite everything.
