Nicola Monaco
In his classes, Nicola Monaco invites participants to face their own boundaries, offering them the tools to discover and develop their creativity through listening to their bodies. The content of the workshop will be Nicola Monaco’s work, based on a continuous search for movements and on the relationship between intuition and logic within the complexity of the body.
After training at CRD Aterballetto directed by Mauro Bigonzetti, Nicola Monaco works with some of the most prestigious dance companies on the international scene such as Emio Greco/Pc, Gregory Maquoma, Tom Dale, The Featherstonehaugh. In 2013 he becomes rehearsal director of the company Zfin Malta Dance Ensemble and gets a teaching diploma in the Double Skin Double Mind methodology at the company ICK Amsterdam. Since 2018 he has been rehearsal director and assistant choreographer at Akram Khan Dance Company.
The workshop is intended for intermediate/advanced dancers and will be held in English.
