In 2020 he creates Punch 24 and Turn the tide for the Fondazione Nazionale Delle Danza Aterballetto. In 2021 he creates Superorganism for Agora Coaching Project, which remains in the form of the first studio and stages with MM contemporay dance company by Michele Merola Round trip, a version for 6 dancers of Punch 24.

At the end of the same year, he developed a new version of AGR Duet, which later changed its name to Line-up, for the National Theater Mannheim in Germany.

In 2022, he creates Ad Eva for XLdancecompany.

Tedesco is a guest in our halls for a two-week residency in May 2022. The intuition for the project stems from the practice of providing students, during workshops, with a conceptual map designed to guide the improvisation session. But what if the map was an actual outline to be followed to develop a new choreographic work that will see the dancers grappling with their conscious decisions?

Intelligence, maturity, experience, astuteness, observation, sacrifice, listening, prudence, altruism: these are some of the qualities required of the performer to decide on the spot how to act, having a clear purpose that is not personal but communal. For Tedesco, the spark that triggers research work is improvisation. The end result is the conscious decision of the individual dancer in the collective composition.

The choreographic composition becomes an available space, to be filled and emptied through the awareness of each individual performer. Respect for taste plays a key role in ensuring that the whole is well blended and that the different personalities are dressed in a single suit.

Taste is dress. Taste is qualities, attitudes, rhythms, manners. Taste is also limits, which the choreographer draws around the dancers, guiding their improvisation through key words and threads that weave the performance. Taste is everything that triggers the decision. Perhaps then taste is awareness itself?

The concept map encapsulates the things that are important to me in choreography, not only as an author but also as a spectator. All the things I like to find when I watch dance on stage.
